CP Adewale highlighted that the exercise aimed to showcase the police as integral members of the community, emphasizing that a clean and orderly environment contributes to crime prevention.

He stated, “The police have always played a role in environmental sanitation. Whenever there’s a call for a clean-up, we ensure compliance. Today’s activity reinforces our commitment to community involvement because cleanliness is next to godliness.”

He added that maintaining a tidy environment discourages criminal activities. The CP also noted that similar clean-up exercises were being coordinated by area commanders in other divisions, including Abaji and Gwagwalada, as part of the initiative.

Since the community hosts the command headquarters, Adewale emphasized the importance of leading by example.
