Represented by Zonal Commander Zone C, Hassan Sakaba, Marwa underscored that establishing the Zonal Office in Ayingba is a strategic step to enhance NDLEA’s efforts in combating drug abuse and trafficking in Kogi and other areas of the North Central region.
He called on Kogi residents to join forces with NDLEA in its campaign against the illicit drug trade, stressing the importance of collective action to safeguard young people from the harmful effects of drug abuse.
“As responsible citizens of our nation, we must rise up to confront this menace to protect our youth. Illicit drugs are prematurely ending the lives of our children, who are our promising future leaders. We cannot allow that to happen,” he cautioned.
