It is important to note that several nations within the ECOWAS region, including Guinea, Burkina Faso, Mali, and Chad, are currently experiencing political unrest due to their backing of Niger’s coup plotters, who seized power from the ousted President, Bazhoum.
In a recent development, President Tinubu, in his capacity as the chairman of ECOWAS, revealed his plans to the Senate about a possible intervention in Niger, despite numerous cautions from top figures.
