The man in the trending video lamented, “This country e nor balance at all. Somebody will serve this country’s military, navy, or police, dedicating thirty to thirty-five years of service. After retiring, that’s when he manages to amass enough money to build a house in the village or buy his first car because he couldn’t afford it all these years.”

He continued with a sense of frustration, “But somebody who rigs an election and becomes a member of the House will receive a hundred and sixty million just for a bulletproof car. Meanwhile, these individuals who have been sacrificing their lives in the bush can’t even afford to buy a house after retirement. In this country, life nor balance.”

The man’s poignant commentary reflects the sentiments of many Nigerians, particularly in the wake of recent revelations that the Senate allocated over 57 billion for luxury vehicles for its members and an additional 70 billion for luxury furniture. The video underscores the perceived imbalance in the distribution of resources and rewards for different sectors of service within the nation.
