Nigerian Bread Seller Makes Over ₦70,000 Weekly While Helping Villagers Earn Money In Lagos
A Nigerian bread seller has attracted attention after a man revealed how her business generates more than ₦70,000 in weekly profit while creating employment opportunities for people from her village in Lagos.
According to the man, the woman operates a distribution system involving more than 10 hawkers who sell bread to motorists and commuters in traffic, allowing them to earn money from daily sales.
He explained that the businesswoman brings people from her village to Lagos and provides them with bread to sell, while she manages the overall operation and shares the profits with the hawkers.
Recounting how the arrangement works, the man disclosed that each loaf of bread generates ₦300 in profit, out of which the woman gives ₦250 to the hawkers and keeps ₦50 for herself.
The arrangement reportedly benefits both parties, as the hawkers earn a larger share of the profit from their sales while the businesswoman makes money through the volume of bread distributed.
He further revealed that the woman sells at least 200 loaves daily, with sales sometimes exceeding that figure on particularly good days. Each hawker reportedly sells more than 20 loaves on most occasions.
According to his account, the woman generates over ₦70,000 weekly from her share of the profit alone.
Her business is also said to have expanded, with the entrepreneur recently opening another shop beside her first outlet and purchasing a new car.
The story has drawn attention to her business strategy, which combines a steady distribution network with an arrangement that provides income opportunities for people seeking to make a living in Lagos.
Her approach highlights how a small business can expand by building a network of sellers while creating opportunities for others to earn from their daily efforts.
