Nigerians React As Yahaya Bello Released From Prison
Former Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, has been released from the Kuje Correctional Centre after fulfilling the bail conditions set by the Federal High Court in Abuja in his case with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Bello was freed on Friday evening after meeting the ₦500 million bail requirement and other conditions imposed by the court.
Adamu Duza, spokesperson for the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), FCT Command, confirmed the release to PUNCH.
“Yahaya Bello has been released after meeting the bail conditions. He was released this evening (Friday),” Duza stated.
He further noted that the Controller of NCoS, FCT Command, Ajibogun Olatubosun, was present to ensure a smooth release and adherence to all protocols.
