Renowned journalist Bayo Onanuga’s recent assertion that former CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele would face a firing squad if he were in China has stirred diverse reactions among Nigerians. Onanuga’s statement follows revelations from a presidential panel investigating unauthorized investments of Nigeria’s funds in 593 foreign bank accounts across the United States, China, and the United Kingdom during Emefiele’s tenure.
