The vice president also disclosed that Nigeria has mobilized over half a billion dollars for transformative food systems initiatives, involving domestic resources, multilateral development banks, international financial institutions, and leading agro-businesses.
Shettima highlighted Nigeria’s efforts to empower smallholders and rural operators through programs like the Value Chain Development Programme (VCDP) and Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zones (SAPZ).
Additionally, he emphasized President Tinubu’s commitment to transforming governance and addressing food security challenges in the country.
