The incident reportedly occurred at the premiere of Eniola Ajao’s movie “Owanbe Thieves” on Sunday. Laide Bakare had accused Badmus of insulting her, claiming she once helped elevate Badmus’ career when others distanced themselves due to her appearance and size.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, Eniola Badmus shared a reflective message urging for unity within the entertainment industry, emphasizing that conflict only hinders progress.
“Life teaches us that real strength is found not in division but in unity,” she wrote. “We may have had our differences, but it’s time to let love lead. There’s no reason for envy — your success doesn’t reduce mine, and mine doesn’t overshadow yours.”
She called on her colleagues to continue working together and supporting one another, stressing that cooperation will yield greater results than rivalry.
“Let’s avoid conflict, not because we are weak, but because we are wise. Peace paves the way for progress, and love lights the path forward. Here’s to better days filled with understanding, shared dreams, and mutual respect.”
She ended her message with a playful nod:
