Former Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Nomy, has broken her silence following her disqualification from the reality show, expressing gratitude to fans for the overwhelming support and love she has received since leaving the house.

Nomy’s journey on the ‘Show Ya Sef’ edition came to an abrupt end after Big Brother revoked her privilege to participate in the competition following repeated defiance of his instructions. The official show account confirmed that she had previously received a strike and final warning before another breach led to her disqualification.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Nomy opened up about her experience while speaking during a space on X, revealing that she was deeply touched after discovering the level of support waiting for her outside the house.

The former housemate said she never expected to have such a large support base and expressed appreciation to those who continued to stand by her despite her unexpected exit from the competition.

Nomy admitted that if she had known beforehand that so many people were rooting for her, she would have approached the competition differently and done everything possible to remain in the house until the finale.

She also apologised to supporters who felt disappointed by her disqualification, stressing that she never intended to let them down.

Nomy thanked fans for checking on her and continuing to support her even after her departure from the show. She acknowledged that her journey did not end in the way she or her supporters had hoped, but said she remained grateful for the love she had received.

Her disqualification followed another confrontation with Big Brother over her conduct while serving as the week’s designated bench warmer. Nomy had been instructed to remain with her assigned bench and wear the designated vest but left both behind, prompting Big Brother to question her actions.

Following the latest violation, Big Brother reminded her that participation in the reality show was a privilege and subsequently revoked that privilege, giving her 30 minutes to gather her belongings and leave the house.

Despite her controversial exit, Nomy’s latest comments suggest that she has been encouraged by the strong reception from fans outside the house and remains appreciative of the support that has followed her after her disqualification.
