Adejobi categorically dismissed these claims as deliberate attempts to sow discord within the force. He clarified that the police have indeed collaborated with state governments and reputable developers to undertake a redevelopment project aimed at transforming the barracks into modern facilities.

The redevelopment plan includes swift completion of improvements at Falomo Barracks, providing upgraded accommodations for current residents. Adejobi highlighted that families residing in Blocks A and B of Falomo Barracks have each received Two Million Naira (N2,000,000) as temporary relocation assistance during this process. This financial aid has been disbursed to 347 families to facilitate their temporary move.

The statement emphasized the Nigeria Police Force’s commitment to addressing concerns about the dilapidated state of barracks through strategic partnerships and redevelopment initiatives. It clarified that these efforts are not limited to Falomo Barracks alone but extend to other police barracks nationwide, aiming to enhance living conditions for officers and their families.
