The alleged offenses involve embezzlement of N2.4 billion and were said to have occurred between 2019 and 2022 in Ogun State.

During the court proceedings, Oluomo’s counsel, Chukwudi Nmaduka, filed a motion seeking permission for his client to travel abroad for a medical check-up during the annual vacation.

The EFCC’s prosecution counsel, Abbass Mohammed, did not oppose the application, and Justice Oweibo granted it unopposed.

With the permission granted, Oluomo is now allowed to travel abroad for his medical check-up. The case will continue to be tried in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
