In a string of tweets, Reno Omokri referenced a viral video where Peter Obi made a surprising claim about his financial status. In the video, Peter Obi is heard saying he is wealthier than the current US President, Joe Biden, who purportedly has a net worth of $8.9 million.
Capitalizing on this claim, Reno cheekily tweeted: “I Am Richer Than President Biden Who Has Only $8.9 Million – Peter Obi. Okay, help Mr. Ibu!”
Reno did not stop there. He went further to remind his followers of a past event where Mr. Ibu had organized a fundraiser for Peter Obi when the latter was in good health. He claimed that billions of Naira were raised during that period. Given Peter Obi’s purported vast wealth and the past gesture of Mr. Ibu, Reno urged the politician to reciprocate by aiding the ailing actor with his medical expenses. CONTINUE READING
Omokri’s tweet continued: “Google it. Mr. Ibu set up a fundraiser for Peter Obi when he was healthy. Billions of Naira were raised from that fundraiser. The least Peter Obi can do is use some of the billions raised from that fundraiser to help Mr. Ibu now that he has health challenges.”
The tweet concluded with a direct address to Peter Obi’s staunch supporters, whom Reno playfully termed ‘Obidients’: “This is not a matter of insult from you, Obidients. First, get Peter Obi to donate. You can insult me later!”
