In a quiet but meaningful moment of gratitude, youths from Okpekpe community paid a one-on-one courtesy visit to the Hon. Minister of Regional Development, Abubakar Momoh, FNSE, at his country home in Imiegba, his hometown in Edo State.
The visit was driven by appreciation rather than ceremony. The young men and women expressed their thanks for the Minister’s continued support for grassroots development, youth inclusion, and regional progress, describing him as a leader who remains accessible despite national responsibilities.
Hon. Momoh warmly received the delegation, listening attentively as they shared their thoughts and aspirations for Okpekpe and surrounding communities. He encouraged them to remain united, productive, and committed to peace, stressing that sustainable development begins with responsible youth leadership.
The interaction reflected a simple but powerful message: leadership resonates most when it stays connected to home, and gratitude speaks loudest when it is given face to face.
