In a brief statement released by Presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale on Saturday, it was announced that television, radio stations, and other electronic media outlets are encouraged to connect to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Radio Nigeria (FRCN) to broadcast the address.

It was previously reported that President Tinubu had returned to Abuja following his two-week engagements abroad. This included his attendance at the 78th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, United States, from September 18 to 26, 2023. Subsequently, the President embarked on a private visit to France.

Additionally, on Sunday, the President will preside over an Independence Day military parade at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
