He pledged to commence his duties immediately, acknowledging President Tinubu and all Nigerians for their confidence in him.
In his message posted on X, Onanuga stated: “I will officially assume the role of Special Adviser on Information and Strategy to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, effective immediately.
I want to extend my appreciation to the President for the trust he has placed in me and also to fellow Nigerians who have kept me in their thoughts and believe that I am well-suited for this new responsibility.”
This appointment was announced by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to President Tinubu. Additionally, President Tinubu revealed the appointment of Ms. Delu Bulus Yakubu as Senior Special Assistant on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
It’s worth noting that Onanuga previously served as a spokesperson for the defunct Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign team.
