Joining Osodeke were several ASUU officials, including Comrade Happiness Uduk (ASUU Coordinator, Calabar Zone), Professor Denis Aribodor (ASUU Coordinator, Owerri Zone), Professor Michael Ugwuene (ASUU Chairman, MOUAU branch), and Professor Kingsley Ubaoji (ASUU Chairman, Nnamdi Azikiwe University).
