Osun Workers To Receive N75,000 Minimum Wage Under Adeleke’s New ApprovalThe Osun State Government announced on Wednesday that Governor Ademola Adeleke has approved a new minimum wage of N75,000 for civil servants in the state. In a statement, Alimi, who is also a member of the committee tasked with developing the new wage structure, noted that the government team was led by the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Kazeem Akinleye, while the labor delegation was headed by the Osun NLC Chairman, Christopher Arapasopo.
“The new minimum wage of N75,000 has been approved by Governor Senator Ademola Adeleke for civil servants in Osun State,” Alimi said.
He further emphasized that the administration of Governor Adeleke remains committed to the welfare of civil servants, who play a vital role in delivering essential services to the state, despite the financial constraints the government faces.
The commissioner also called on civil servants to enhance their service delivery, encouraging them to adopt innovative approaches that promote transparency, accountability, and the overall development of Osun State, which is celebrating its 33rd anniversary.
Earlier, the Chief of Staff, Kazeem Akinleye, expressed appreciation for the Governor’s approval of the N75,000 minimum wage, reinforcing the state’s dedication to improving the conditions of its workers.
