PDP Appoints South-South Zonal Caretaker Committee In Major Reshuffle – Full Details Inside
The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the formation of the South-South Zonal Caretaker Committee to oversee the party’s activities in the region.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
This decision, in line with the provisions of the PDP Constitution (as amended in 2017), was announced in a statement by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, on Friday.
The new committee will take office on Monday, March 10th, 2025, to ensure seamless leadership and prevent any leadership vacuum following the end of the current Zonal Executive’s tenure on Sunday, March 9, 2025.
The members of the South-South Zonal Caretaker Committee are:
- Bro. Emma Ogidi – Chairman
- Hon. Nicholas Ayuwa – Member
- Barr. Godwin Akpan Udonta – Member
- Mrs. Bekewei Ashanti – Member
- Idehen Ebomoyi – Member
- Dame Vivian Ahanmisi – Member
- Chief Damiete Herbert-Miller – Secretary
The South-South Zonal Caretaker Committee will manage the party’s affairs in the region for three months or until a new Zonal Executive is elected as per the PDP Constitution.
The NWC urges all PDP leaders, stakeholders, and members in the South-South Zone to support the committee and work together for the party’s success in the region, the statement concluded.
