PDP In Tatters! No Opposition Left By 2027 – Akpabio Drops Bombshell

Speaking on Friday during his midterm empowerment briefing at the Ikot Ekpene Township Stadium, Akpabio claimed that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has fallen apart and its symbolic umbrella can no longer provide shelter for the people.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Akpabio, who represents the Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District, stated:

“As things stand, there will be no political party structure in Akwa Ibom come 2027. For the Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District, every party has unified in support of my Senate return. The same goes for the governorship — all parties have rallied behind Governor Umo Eno. Akwa Ibom is solidly behind President Bola Tinubu, Umo Eno as Governor, and myself for the Senate.”

He emphasized that the PDP is now in ruins and no longer viable:

“The PDP is in shreds — its umbrella is torn and can no longer provide protection.”

Following the stadium event, Akpabio inaugurated a series of constituency projects, revealing that 68 development projects were set for commissioning between May 16 and May 17, 2025.

He praised Governor Umo Eno, describing him as a genuine man of peace and faith:

“Umo Eno is not just someone who proclaims God with his lips — he truly carries God in his heart. He has united all of us.”

Akpabio also lauded his wife, Unoma Akpabio, for her continuous empowerment efforts across the state:

“She does it because hunger knows no political party. Whether I’m around or not, keep feeding the people. Akwa Ibom will show you love.”
