On his social media platform, Adeyanju stated, “Peter Obi is a religious bigot. There’s no difference between him and ElRufai. If you like hit your head on the wall, I will keep saying it.”

It is pertinent to note that both political figures have previously been embroiled in controversies surrounding religion. Peter Obi’s alleged bias came to the limelight following a leaked conversation with Bishop David Oyedepo where he seemed to imply the presidential election was akin to a religious war.
