Amadi noted the internal conflict among Obi’s supporters, with some pushing for him to run for president again, while others advocate that he should align with Atiku as a vice-presidential candidate in 2027.

He wrote:
“The problem with Peter Obi is that some people just want him to help them win elections. If he does not say, ‘I will be vice president to Atiku,’ then he is selfish. They insult him. But real supporters of Obi want him to be President. Which side are you on?”

Meanwhile, Amadi also commented on President Bola Tinubu’s relationship with his deputies, stating that Tinubu has a history of struggling to work well with vice presidents.

Speaking during an interview on Arise TV on Saturday, Amadi pointed to Shettima’s exclusion from recent endorsements by the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a potential sign of things to come. This was in reference to the APC Northeast stakeholders’ meeting in Gombe State, where President Tinubu was endorsed for a second term without any mention of Shettima.
