According to Daily Post, which monitored filling stations across the capital, NNPCL outlets have already begun implementing the new rate, reflecting the ₦10 reduction. Stations along Kubwa Expressway, Gwarimpa, Wuse Zone 4, Wuse Zone 6, and several surrounding areas have all adjusted to the new ₦930 price.
Independent marketers have also followed suit.
At Ranoil Filling Station in Gwarimpa, PMS now sells for ₦935, down from ₦940.
MRS Ardova and AP Ardova stations in Abuja and nearby communities currently dispense fuel between ₦930 and ₦935 per litre.
Major depots such as Pinnacle, Aiteo, and others also slashed their ex-depôt prices on Thursday morning, selling fuel at ₦846, ₦845, and ₦844 per litre, respectively.
Reacting to the price adjustments, IPMAN spokesperson Chinedu Ukadike noted that PMS prices could fall even further as competition among marketers increases.
