Phyna Breaks Silence After Nkechi Blessing Calls Her A Nuisance, Reveals Movie Deal Details

Former Big Brother Naija Level Up winner Phyna has responded to Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing after the actress criticised her social media activities and described her as a nuisance.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the exchange began after Nkechi Blessing questioned whether Phyna had people around her who could advise her about her activities online. The actress also referred to their age difference and cautioned the reality star against disrespecting her.

Reacting to the remarks, Phyna questioned why Nkechi Blessing had brought her into the discussion, stressing that the two women are neither friends nor business associates.

Phyna disclosed that Nkechi had contacted her about two months earlier regarding a movie project and requested her payment details as they discussed her possible involvement in the production.

According to Phyna, she responded later that same day after receiving the actress’s message. However, Nkechi reportedly told her that she had already chosen someone else for the role because she did not want to delay the project.

“Nkechi reached out to me. She said we should do her film. She messaged me for the amount. When I told her, she said ₦1.5 million was too much,” Phyna explained.

She added that she had also suggested that Nkechi appear on her live-streaming platform, but the actress did not respond to the proposal.

According to Phyna, Nkechi subsequently explained that she had sent the message earlier in the day and could not wait until evening for a response because she does not like delaying her projects. Phyna said she apologised after being informed that another person had already been cast.

She maintained that there had been no further communication between them after the incident, insisting that they were not friends.

Phyna also referred to Nkechi as “grandma” while questioning why the actress had publicly criticised her. She further stated that she was prepared to release screenshots of their previous conversation to support her account of what transpired.

The exchange has since attracted attention on social media, with users sharing different opinions about the disagreement between the reality star and the actress.
