A Nigerian lady identified as @-IAMglory on X, formerly known as Twitter, has sparked reactions online after sharing how a date reportedly came to an abrupt end shortly after she ordered fish.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the lady recounted the experience in a post that has since circulated widely on X. She explained that after ordering fish during the date, she asked a waiter to provide her with a fork.

However, according to her account, the man she was with questioned why she wanted a fork instead of eating the fish with her hands.

The exchange reportedly upset the lady, who said she picked up her bag, left the venue and blocked the man while making her way home.

Reflecting on the incident, she also called on Nigerian men to reconsider what she described as outdated expectations and urged them to adjust their mindset.
