During a condolence visit to the affected communities, Shettima conveyed heartfelt condolences and profound apologies, vowing relentless efforts to ensure justice and safety for the affected residents.
Expressing President Tinubu’s deep sorrow and shock at the tragic incident, Shettima underscored the shared pain that transcends ethnic, religious, and political boundaries, emphasizing the collective grief as a testament to our shared humanity.
Describing the act as a national funeral, Shettima acknowledged the indescribable nightmare of burying families, pledging the government’s commitment to assuage the pain and protect the citizens.
