Poco Lee Speaks Out After UK Bail, Reveals His Biggest Concern During Ordeal

Nigerian dancer and entertainer, Iweh Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has spoken publicly about his recent ordeal in the United Kingdom following his release on bail in connection with an alleged sexual offence case.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the development follows proceedings at Snaresbrook Crown Court, which has scheduled September 15 for plea and trial preparation in the case. Poco Lee had travelled to the United Kingdom in August in connection with the Davido and Friends concert held at the Crystal Palace Bowl in London on August 14.

Speaking during a video call with social commentator VeryDarkMan, Poco Lee maintained that he is innocent of the allegation and said he remained confident because he knew he had not committed the offence for which he was accused.

The dancer explained that his biggest concern during his absence was the welfare of his associates and the possible effect of the situation on their businesses and activities.

Poco Lee said he was particularly worried that some of his associates, including Rahman Jago, could not properly attend to business matters while he was away. He also expressed appreciation to those who continued to support him during the difficult period.

He further stated that he had no reason to feel guilty because, according to him, he did not commit the act alleged against him. He described his conscience as clear and said he remained grateful to God.

The development has also drawn public attention after Nigerian music stars, including Burna Boy and Rahman Jago, were said to have shown support for Poco Lee during the period.

VeryDarkMan, who shared details of his conversation with the dancer on social media, also acknowledged the support shown by those close to Poco Lee as the legal proceedings continue.

With the matter still before the court, Poco Lee is expected to return to Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 15 as the case proceeds to the next stage.
