Felix Morka, spokesperson for the All Progressives Congress (APC), has defended President Bola Tinubu’s approach to national appointments, asserting that Tinubu has been equitable in his selections across all regions. “President Tinubu is striving for fairness in appointments,” Morka stated. “We see a fair distribution in key positions.”
He emphasized that it’s premature to judge the administration, which has been in power for just one year and is yet to fill numerous vacant offices. Morka highlighted the current diversity in positions such as the President, Vice President, Minister of Defence (predominantly northern-based), Minister of Finance, and CBN Governor (mainly southern-based).
He urged patience, stating, “Wait until more key positions are filled before drawing conclusions.”
Morka also underscored Tinubu’s commitment to national unity, emphasizing that the President serves all Nigerians regardless of regional affiliations.
