Political Bombshell: Galadima Alleges Hidden Agenda To Seize Control OF Northern State!
Buba Galadima, a prominent chieftain of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has alleged a covert plot by certain individuals aimed at destabilizing Kano State and triggering a declaration of a state of emergency—without the knowledge or approval of President Bola Tinubu.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Speaking on AIT’s political programme Jigsaw on Tuesday, Galadima insisted that President Tinubu was unaware of the behind-the-scenes maneuvering.
“Regarding the Kano situation, I can confidently say Tinubu had no knowledge of what was orchestrated,” Galadima asserted.
He claimed the plan was to entrap both the Kano State Government and the Emir in a crisis scenario that would justify imposing emergency rule.
“There was a grand scheme to implicate both the Kano State Government and the Emir in a way that would justify declaring a state of emergency,” he explained.
Galadima further revealed that the plot included a meeting held in the residence of a top government official in Abuja. During this meeting, arrangements were allegedly made to position a new Emir—who was sent on Umrah to Saudi Arabia—as a replacement.
“There was a meeting in Abuja at the house of a senior official, and the individual intended to be installed as Emir was sent to Umrah. As I speak, he is still in Saudi Arabia,” he stated.
According to Galadima, part of the plot involved detaining the current Emir upon his return to Nigeria, placing the military on alert, and declaring the traditional throne vacant.
“The plan was that once the Emir is summoned and detained in Abuja, the military would be on standby, and the throne would be declared vacant,” he alleged.
When pressed to disclose the identity of the individual being groomed as the new Emir, Galadima refused, saying: “I won’t mention names. Go and find out which Kano prince is currently in Saudi Arabia. Everyone in Nigeria knows what’s going on.”
His revelation comes shortly after the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, withdrew an earlier invitation extended to the Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi, over reported killings during the recent Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.
