In response, Eze issued a statement on Thursday dismissing Okocha as a purveyor of falsehoods and urged the public to disregard his claims about Amaechi. Eze suggested that Okocha may be suffering from cognitive disorientation, speculating that he craves attention but won’t receive it from the former transportation minister.

Eze described Okocha as a “licensed merchant of falsehood and a skilled practitioner of smear campaigns,” accusing him of having a natural knack for stirring trouble that aligns with the interests of those opposed to good governance and democracy.

Eze further criticized Okocha’s verbose and aimless rhetoric, suggesting that those around him should intervene for his own well-being. He referenced a viral social media video where Okocha confessed to manipulating election results, implying that such behavior warrants scrutiny by security agencies.

Eze lamented the societal tolerance for individuals he termed “insane, morally bankrupt, and psychopathic,” asserting that they pose a threat to society’s integrity and public decency.

The APC chieftain reiterated Amaechi’s pivotal role in the party’s establishment and stressed that Amaechi has not declared any intention to leave APC, reaffirming his leadership within the party.
