Furthermore, the President instructed various government entities, including law enforcement agencies and maritime and transportation safety authorities, to collaborate closely in identifying the root causes of these unfortunate and preventable disasters.
Ngelale conveyed President Tinubu’s heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims who lost their lives in recent boat accidents in Mokwa Local Government Area of Niger and Gurin village in Fufore LGA of Adamawa.
He also emphasized the President’s commitment to ensuring government agencies are held accountable and called for a comprehensive review of safety measures while urging strict enforcement of existing laws governing boating activities in Nigeria.
