has granted his approval for the appointment of Shaakaa Chira as the substantive Auditor-General of the Federation, following the recommendation by the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC).
In a statement issued by Ajuri Ngelale, the official spokesperson of the President, it was disclosed that President Tinubu sanctioned Chira’s appointment after a comprehensive screening process by the Federal Civil Service
Commission, which determined Chira as the most highly qualified candidate, also achieving the highest score in the examination among all eligible candidates for the position.
“The President, Bola Tinubu, anticipates that the new Auditor-General will demonstrate his competence, justifying the trust placed in him and meeting the elevated expectations of Nigerians regarding the fulfillment of his administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda,” he remarked.
