Presidential Spokesperson Ngelale Takes Unscheduled Leave Of Absence

Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Media & Publicity, has announced an indefinite leave of absence to address urgent medical issues affecting his family. According to Naija News, Ngelale’s leave is due to a serious medical situation at home, and he communicated this decision through a memo submitted to the Chief of Staff last Friday.
In his statement shared on WhatsApp, Ngelale detailed that his leave would pause his duties as Special Presidential Envoy on Climate Action and Chairman of the Presidential Steering Committee on Project Evergreen. He emphasized that this decision followed extensive family consultations and was necessary due to the worsening health conditions at home.
Ngelale expressed his hope to return to his national duties when circumstances allow and requested privacy for his family during this period. The leave is effective immediately, with no set date for his return.
