Speaking at the 2025 Stakeholders’ Forum held in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, CAC Registrar-General, Malam Hussaini Magaji (SAN), confirmed the development.

He explained that the new AI-driven system enables instant name reservation approvals, comparing the simplicity of the process to creating an email account.

“One of the key innovations is that a business can now be registered using just the National Identification Number (NIN) of a director or proprietor,” he added.

According to Magaji, the new platform is designed to complete business registration and generate certificates within 30 minutes, depending on real-time NIN validation.

Magaji assured stakeholders that the platform will reduce bureaucratic bottlenecks and align Nigeria’s business registration procedures with global standards.
