Scandal Rocks Benue: EFCC Nabs Gov. Alia’s Aide Over Explosive Sextortion Allegations
Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Makurdi Zonal Directorate, have apprehended Dr. Mkor Aondona, the Special Adviser to Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia on Documentation, Research, and Planning, over allegations of sextortion and cyberbullying.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The EFCC made this known in a brief statement shared via its official Facebook page on Saturday.
According to the agency, Dr. Aondona was arrested on Friday in Makurdi following petitions by several female students accusing him of sexual exploitation and misconduct.
The petitioners alleged that Aondona habitually recruited slim and attractive young women for ushering roles but made sexual advances a prerequisite for their selection.
Further accusations claim that the governor’s aide secretly recorded intimate encounters with the women without their consent and used the videos to blackmail them into continuing the relationships under duress.
