It will be recalled that Jandor exited the PDP on March 3 and rejoined the APC, where he previously held membership before his defection to the opposition party.
Despite his defeat in the 2023 gubernatorial election, Adediran expressed pride in the political awareness and opportunities his campaign brought to the Badagry division, now within the APC structure.
Addressing the crowd, Adediran expressed optimism that President Tinubu’s people-centered reforms and the wave of new members joining the party would solidify Tinubu’s return to office in 2027, should he decide to run.
“Our decision to return to the APC is inspired by the progressive reforms of President Tinubu,” he said. “The removal of fuel subsidy is a bold and selfless move. He could have avoided tough decisions to preserve political capital for 2027, but he chose what’s best for the nation.”
“His reforms are beginning to yield results, and that is why we are committed to doing everything necessary to ensure his re-election in 2027,” he added.
Adediran also appreciated the APC for warmly welcoming him and his team back, encouraging his supporters to begin mobilizing in earnest for the President’s future campaign.
In his remarks, Lagos State APC Chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, lauded Adediran’s return and called on party leaders to integrate him and his team fully. He urged party members to remain committed, assuring them that Tinubu would recognize and reward loyalty and hard work.
“Give your best to the party—your efforts won’t go unnoticed,” Ojelabi said. “We’ll use our votes as a tool to negotiate meaningful inclusion in government.”
He emphasized that Jandor would play a key role in shaping the party’s forward momentum.
The rally drew a large crowd, including loyal members of the Lagos4Lagos Movement, former PDP allies, and top APC figures such as former Deputy Governor Sarah Sosan, lawmakers at both federal and state levels, and other prominent party stakeholders.
