Speaking in an interview with media host Chude Jideonwo, Freeze reflected on his past, describing both himself and his ex-wife as “too young and immature” to have tied the knot.
According to him, “We had no business getting married because we were very young and immature. I was 24, she was 22. She was pregnant. If she wasn’t pregnant, I don’t think we would have gotten married. Pregnancy was one of the major factors that led to the marriage.”
On the issue of his divorce, the broadcaster accused his ex-wife of cutting him off from their children.
“My ex-wife and I are both stubborn—she won’t listen and I won’t listen. It was two broken people in a union. My biggest regret is that the marriage didn’t work out, but can I at least talk to my kids on the phone? They’re abroad now. I know where they are, but I don’t want to sneak up on them. If they want to see me, they can always send a message,” he added.
