Bwala’s remarks come in the wake of comments made by presidential aide Bayo Onanuga, who suggested that ongoing protests across the nation are orchestrated and that Nigerians are benefiting from President Tinubu’s challenging reforms.

Responding to the backlash prompted by Onanuga’s remarks, Bwala emphasized the importance of maintaining a constructive attitude. He stated;

“If you prayed and fasted just this past January in your various churches for a better Nigeria and that God guide your leaders, don’t you think your negativity and bad social media energy is invalidating your prayers? Show your faith in your prayers by speaking well of your country and its leaders; critique them when you need to, but overall show your faith in your prayers; that’s the path to an answered prayers.”
