Speaking in a recent interview, the Falling crooner dismissed speculations of a romantic affair, stressing that his connection with Folashade—who is also a cousin to Afrobeats superstar Davido—is strictly platonic.
Lojay described her as one of his closest friends and a trusted member of his inner circle but emphasized that there is no love interest between them.
The singer further revealed that he is not ready to commit to a relationship at this point in his life, explaining that he is prioritizing healing and personal growth.
“Fola is literally my best friend. From the first day I met her, I knew she was different. She’s the only woman in the 30BG crew and she holds it down for everyone. Since then, we just clicked and have remained close friends,” Lojay explained.
