State Government Appoints Five-Member Management Committee For Nasarawa United

This information was disclosed in a letter dated October 17, 2023, and signed by the Office of the Secretary to the State Government.
As per the letter, Dr. Othman Ibrahim Ahmed has been appointed as the new Chairman of the club. Other members of the committee include Solomon Babanjah, who retains his position as Team Manager, and Idris Rilwan, who continues in his role as a committee member.
Additionally, former Nasarawa United players Musa Adamu and Musa Usman Oruma have been appointed as members of the new five-man management committee.
The letter states that the establishment of this committee aligns with the vision of the Governor Abdullahi Sule-led administration, aiming to revitalize Nasarawa United and restore its rightful position in the top-flight football league in Nigeria.
Nasarawa United was relegated to the Nigeria National League (NNL) from the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) in the last season.
The NNL is set to commence on October 28, 2023, and Nasarawa United is determined to secure an immediate return to the elite league.
