Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun has enacted three Executive Orders, forming two new agencies and imposing restrictions on traditional rulers’ involvement in mining and land agreements within their domains.

The newly established agencies include the Ogun State Mineral Resources Development Agency and the Ogun State Landscaping and Recreation Agency. Governor Abiodun emphasized the necessity of these measures to regulate mining activities, prevent environmental degradation, and ensure local community involvement in solid mineral ventures.
