DAILY POST recalls that Justice Garba Mohammed Lawal had reserved judgment on Thursday, June 13, and stated that parties involved would be notified once the judgment was finalized.
Justice Lawal, heading a 7-man panel of Justices of the Supreme Court, announced the judgment reservation after hearing presentations from the federal government and the state governors.
The Attorney General of the Federation (AGF), Prince Lateef Fagbemi, SAN, argued on behalf of the federal government, while the 36 state governors were represented by their respective lawyers.
