Tension Mounts As JAMB Prepares To Drop 2025 Cut-Off Marks, Admission Details

The announcement will be made during JAMB’s annual policy meeting, which will be held at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja.
In a post on its official handle on Wednesday, JAMB confirmed the date and venue, stating:
“The 2025 Policy Meeting is set for July 8, 2025, at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, Abuja. This gathering of education stakeholders will determine policy guidelines and admission regulations for the upcoming academic session.”
JAMB emphasized that attendance is by invitation only, but live coverage will be available via its social media platforms.
The meeting is expected to attract key figures in Nigeria’s education sector, including vice-chancellors, rectors, provosts, and officials from regulatory bodies.
During the meeting, stakeholders will decide on the minimum scores required in the 2025 UTME for various tertiary institutions. The forum will also finalize timelines for application submissions, screening processes, and registration for the 2025/2026 academic calendar.
Additionally, top scorers in the 2025 UTME will be recognized and celebrated at the event.
The annual policy meeting plays a pivotal role in Nigeria’s higher education system, laying the foundation for admission procedures across all tertiary institutions.
