During an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Thursday, Natasha asserted that her widespread popularity would be a significant factor in her victory. She emphasized her commitment to educating and raising awareness among people who have become disillusioned with politics.
When asked if she could defeat Bello and Ododo in an election, Natasha confidently replied, “Yes, I’m very popular, and one thing that works for me is that I live my life every day as a senator, educating and creating awareness among those who have lost hope in politics. I aim to inspire a new wave of followers who believe that leadership standards can improve and that their active participation can shape Nigeria’s political future.”
She added, “If I decide to, and God spares our lives, I believe in the power of now. I live in the moment and trust in what tomorrow holds.”
In a separate development, Natasha revealed that the decision to use a helicopter for her homecoming rally in Kogi was suggested by her husband. She maintained that her actions did not violate any laws, explaining that the road leading to the event venue was constructed by her and that her family owns the land where the helicopter landed.
It is worth noting that just hours before the rally, the Kogi State government banned all forms of rallies and mandated that all convoys entering the state receive prior approval. Despite the ban, Natasha circumvented the restrictions by arriving via helicopter, where she was warmly welcomed by her constituents.
