In his New Year address, President Tinubu outlined plans to ensure a consistent supply of affordable food for Nigerians and pledged efforts to provide reliable power supply and petroleum products to the nation. He expressed a commitment to alleviating the suffering of Nigerians.

Reacting to the speech, Shehu Sani, the former senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the 8th Assembly, acknowledged the positivity of the President’s address but highlighted that no specific timeline was set for the implementation of the promises.

He remarked, “The President’s speech is good and encouraging. It gives the kind of hope raised by Native Doctors; that you will be delivered from your sickness but no date.””
