In a statement shared on on Saturday, Ologbondiyan included a letter dated December 5, 2025, addressed to the Chairman of Okekoko Ward (09), Kabba/Bunu Local Government, Kogi State, in which he officially notified the party of his decision to leave.

Titled “Notification of Membership Withdrawal,” the letter explained that after careful reflection on his time in the PDP, he concluded it was time to part ways.

“It is now imperative to bring your attention to the fact that I have reviewed my participation in the PDP and came to the conclusion that, for personal reasons, I need to make my exit,” he stated.

Ologbondiyan stressed that his decision is final: “I have therefore come to a decision to formally withdraw my membership of the PDP, henceforth.”
