Reports indicate that the incident occurred on Saturday evening along the Kaduna-Zaria highway. The source revealed that Faisal was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His father was present at the hospital, and Faisal’s body has since been returned home for burial preparations.

Faisal, who was trained as a civil engineer, received his early education at Kaduna International School before moving on to Adesoye College in Offa, Kwara State, for his secondary education. He later attended the University of Greenwich in London, where he completed both his undergraduate and master’s degrees, and was currently pursuing a PhD at the same institution.

This tragedy marks the second heartbreaking incident to strike a prominent Nigerian family this weekend. On Friday, the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) lost his 23-year-old daughter, Fatima, who passed away in Abuja after a brief illness and was laid to rest in accordance with Islamic traditions.
