Tragic Incident Unfolds: SS1 Student Fatally Stabbed By Neighbor In Abuja
A tragic incident unfolded in Kubwa town, FCT, as a 19-year-old secondary school student, Salma Yunusa, lost her life allegedly at the hands of her co-tenant. Hailing from Ajagwumu in Dekina LGA, Kogi State, Salma was under the care of her elder sister, Bilikisu Yunusa, in the Byazhin area of Abuja.
The fatal altercation reportedly occurred during a dispute over hanging clothes on a rope. The accused, Immaculate Chukwudi, purportedly admitted to the crime and is currently detained by the police. A distressing video capturing the aftermath shows Salma lying motionless on a gurney, surrounded by grieving individuals.
The FCT police spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, affirmed the incident’s occurrence. She mentioned that investigations are ongoing, and Immaculate will soon face charges in court.
