Presley Gerber, the 27-year-old son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has died, according to records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner and a statement from the family.

Gerber died on Sunday, September 20, at a rehabilitation facility, with authorities yet to disclose the cause or manner of his death. An autopsy is pending, and further details are expected as the investigation continues.

According to Bush Radio Academy, the family has confirmed the heartbreaking development while appealing for privacy as they cope with the loss. A representative for Crawford and Rande Gerber said the family was asking for privacy during what was described as a very difficult and painful time.

Presley, who was the elder brother of model and actress Kaia Gerber, followed in his mother’s footsteps by pursuing a career in modelling. He began modelling as a teenager and later appeared in campaigns and fashion projects involving major brands, while also working alongside members of his family in the public eye.

His life had also included periods of personal difficulty. In recent years, Presley had spoken publicly about struggles involving addiction and mental health, while his sister Kaia had recently discussed the impact of his long-running struggles on their family.
