Treasure Ayuba’s Release Marks End Of Ordeal For Bethel Students

In July 2021, 121 Bethel students were abducted from their hostel in Maraban Damishi, Chikun Local Government Area of Kaduna State, by bandits.
Despite the payment of ransoms, the bandits retained Treasure Ayuba, releasing the other students in stages.
In a statement released through his Chief Press Secretary, Muhammad Lawal Shehu, Governor Uba Sani conveyed his gratitude to God for the miraculous intervention and thanked all individuals and institutions that worked tirelessly and prayed for Ayuba’s safe return.
He also affirmed the state government’s commitment to providing security agencies with the necessary support to ensure the safety and protection of schools in Kaduna State.
